NVIDIA's venture arm joined Quantinuum's 2025 funding round, the clearest signal yet that the GPU giant sees quantum computing as adjacent rather than substitute.
NVentures, NVIDIA's corporate venture arm, joined Quantinuum's 2025 funding round at a $10B pre-money valuation. The investment was announced as part of the round that closed oversubscribed at approximately $800M by early November 2025.
NVIDIA has been carefully building its quantum computing positioning around hybrid classical-quantum architectures (CUDA-Q, the cuQuantum SDK, DGX Quantum), and the NVentures investment in Quantinuum complements that strategy by giving the company direct exposure to the leading trapped-ion hardware platform.
